Jerry Lewis & Nick Penklis Host Charity Auction for the Muscular Dystrophy Association: Jerry Lewis was the guest star at Gambaro’s Restaurant and Function Centre on Wednesday 22nd of June along with our very own Nick Penklis conducting a Charity Auction in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Jerry has long been the patron of MDS having been instrumental in the raising of some 2.5 billion dollars since its inception in the 1950’s. Auction items included personally signed memorabilia from the King of Comedy himself! A record sale price for South Brisbane!: SPACE Property Agent's achieve the highest recorded sale for South Brisbane 2010! The beautifully renovated Victorian terrace house Kemptown has sold to a local buyer for $2.16 million. The circa 1882 property is listed by the Brisbane City Council as a significant Brisbane historical building. The home, in Edmonstone Street, South Brisbane, overlooks Musgrave Park and enjoys city views. Marketing agent Jessica Paton of SPACE Property Agents said the home was originally built as an upper middle class gentleman's residence.
